This research aims to study the impact of factors on Z-generations’ intentions of social entrepreneurship in Ho Chi Minh City by building and testing research model as well as scales for these factors. With 200 survey samples of Z- generation’s social entrepreneurial intentions in Ho Chi Minh City and using quantitative analysis tools, the results indicated that self-efficacy, perceived social support and prosocial behavior have a significant impact on social entrepreneurial intentions. Moreover, prior experience on social issues had a positive influence on empathy, moral obligation, self-efficacy, perceived social support and prosocial behavior. Although prior experience did not directly impact on social entrepreneurial intentions, the mediating analysis proved the indirect relationship between these two factors. However, empathy and moral obligation did not affect the intentions of social entrepreneurship, which reasons were shed a light by deeper interviews with research’s respondents.Based on the above results, the authors make the conclusions and propose some implications to help the government or the social entrepreneurship associations to design, build and develop the program related to entrepreneurship to guide and promote the motivation of social entrepreneurship among young people, especially Z-generation.en_US
