dc.description.abstract | In the era of technology 4.0, the invention of the Internet has brought humanity to a new world, a digital era with a series of advanced applications released. The emergence of social networks such as Facebook, TikTok, Youtube, ... have become tools to share information, spread energy, and connect people from all over the world. Thanks to that, keeping in touch over long distances or capturing information no longer becomes difficult, even if this is a place for people to share feelings, relieve pressure every day. However, as well as being able to help people relieve stress, social networks can also become a place where people feel more pressured. Because it is also known as the "network community", so everyone can join in making friends, sharing, and so controlling the content shared on social networks is very important. difficult, including negative article content that can affect people's emotions. From those observations, the research team carried out the topic to find out "the relationship between the use of social networks and students' mental health" in order to know the level of influence and come up with a reasonable solution. for the government, schools and students themselves. The topic development team is based on the theoretical bases that have been given along with the factors "Time using social networks", "Posts and videos containing negative content", "Habits of using social networks". social” and “Interactions on social networks”. Based on survey data from 200 students, it was found that posts with negative content and interactions on social networks have a significant impact on mental health. The factors of time and usage habits have a weaker impact.
