dc.description.abstractReal estate brokerage is one of the important economic activities, contributing to the stabilisation and sustainable development of the real estate market and the whole real estate-oriented economy of Vietnam (Tien et al., 2021a, 2021b; Hiep et al., 2021). That is why the enhancement of real estate brokerage activities is so important. This article seeks to find out solutions to improve the efficiency of brokerage business in Vietnam’s real estate industry with many wide opened opportunities together with lots of uncertainties and low market transparency. Using extensive literature review and qualitative research enable this article to identify and investigate factors affecting the efficiency of real estate brokerage activities considered as a part of real estate business activities (Dana and Dana, 2005; Dana and Dumez, 2015; Groenland and Dana, 2020). The research results have emphasised the need and the ways to enhance professionalism of these activities so that the real estate business can achieve profits and operational efficiency higher than at the current situationen_US
